Description:
Hyaluronic Acid(HA),also called hyaluronan , is a straight chain macromolecular mucopolysaccharide composed of repeat disaccharide units of glucuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. It widely consists in the extracellular space of human and neural tissues, vitreum, umbilical cord, skin joints synovia and cockscomb, etc.

In 1934, Meyer , a professor of ophthalmology at Columbia University in United States, first isolated the substance from the vitreous body of bovine eye.Hyaluronic acid with its unique molecular structure and the physical and chemical properties showed a variety of important physiological functions in the body, such as lubricating joints, adjust the permeability of blood vessel walls, regulating protein, diffusion and operating of the electrolyte to promote wound healing, etc. More important, it has a special role in water, hyaluronic acid moisturizing effect found in nature, it is the best material, known as the ideal Natural moisturizing factor (Natural moisturizing factor, NMF, for example: 2% pure hyaluronic acid aqueous solution can firmly maintain 98% moisture). Hyaluronic acid is widely distributed in various parts of human body, such as skin, neural tissues and so on. Human skin and aging process also changes with the content of hyaluronic acid and metabolism, it can improve skin nutrition metabolization, make the skin soft, smooth, remove wrinkles, increase elasticity, prevent aging, while moisturizing and good transdermal absorption promoting agent. When used in combination with other nutrients, it can promote better absorption of nutrients.

Benefits of Hyaluronic Acid:
1. People take hyaluronic acid for various joint disorders, including osteoarthritis. It can be taken by mouth or injected into the affected joint by a healthcare professional.
2. The FDA has approved the use of hyaluronic acid during certain eye surgeries including cataract removal, corneal transplantation, and repair of a detached retina and other eye injuries. It is injected into the eye during the procedure to help replace natural fluids.
3. Hyaluronic acid is also used as a lip filler in plastic surgery.
4. Some people apply hyaluronic acid to the skin for healing wounds, burns, skin ulcers, and as a moisturizer. It is a critical component of the skin that helps to retain moisture, keeping the skin firm, and preventing wrinkles by adding volume to the skin.
