Description:
Sea buckthorn berry oil (Seabuckthorn fruit oil) is extract from Sea buckthorn berry in western of China.The oil is composed of palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid and other beneficial fatty acids. Among them, unsaturated fatty acids are up to 70%.
Hippophae rhamnoides L ,the Latin name of Sea buckthorn ,means “A tree that make the horse shine”,referring to a story happened in ancient Greek era of twelfth Century B.C., A group of horses abandoned by soldiers because of its sick,weak and wounded ,wandered in shrub for a period of time, and miraculously survived and became even more stronger and fur shiny.Finally the ancient Greeks found the sea buckthorn leaves and fruit to nourish the sick horse.
What is Omega-7 fatty acids?
Omega-7 fatty acids are a class of unsaturated fatty acids in which the site of unsaturation is seven carbon atoms from the end of the carbon chain. The most common omega-7 fatty acids in nature are palmitoleic acid , which are extracted from sea buckthorn fruit. Omega-7 fatty acids is a trans-fat that helps your body overcome inflammation.
