Recently, A team of scientists from Bundelkhand University had found fortified pasta,that adding some ginger powder to wheat pasta . The result of fortified pasta having more nutritious and prevent a lot of diseases in our daily life.

The research team prepared four  samples (C, C1, C2, and C3) of pasta by using refined wheat flour and different proportion of ginger powder. Sample C ,the control sample, was prepared containing only refined wheat flour, while other samples (C1,C2 and C3) was prepared containing 990 g refined wheat flour and 10 g ginger powder,970 refined wheat flour and 30 g ginger powder,950 g refined wheat flour and 50 g ginger powder.

All of the four samples were evaluated for  the nutritional content, cooking time ,chemical composition and so on. The findings of the study show that Sample C2 ,97 percent refined wheat flour and 3 percent ginger powder, have the best quality having more nutritional content and  sensory quality.

As we know, ginger, planted in many region of China, was the most common seasoning in our daily diet. Ginger powder ,extract from dried ginger root, is said to have many healthy benefits.
